What's Up With Google And The Blogging?

It seems that the last few days I have tried to write and nothing seems to be working here. I have gone into the blogs and found pictures gone, complete blogs gone, not to mention I haven't been able to edit through Html.

OK, so does Google want me to be perfect in all my sentences and spelling when they are not made accessible to me or the computer, program, blog site? Everyday I come in here and something is wrong with this! Now if I were a mind to, I'd blame this completely on my computer, however since I am doing the majority of this right now at work, when I can get on, I know it isn't this computer. OK, am I bitching this early morning? Yes Sir, I certainly am! Where the heck is my coffee? :-)

Update on the garden: Yesterday, I went and picked a whole 5 gallon bucket of cucumbers, and another 5 gallon bucket of squash and zucchini. I didn't can any yesterday because there has been so many things going on here at work, with my little Frances sick also, so she needed all my attention once she got up. Today will be dill pickle day.

This morning I went and gathered a few squash, leaving more than I gathered for another days worth of growth. There will be abundance in the morning. I went through the 3 rows of corn, lol yes, I remembered... and thinned them out. By this I mean I pulled up the extra stalks that aren't needed, about a foot high, leaving 1/2 inch between them. This gives them more room to grow, therefore not taking away from the main stalk of corn, thus bearing more corn. Yeahhhhhhh, right?

The first picking of green beans will need to be done in the morning also. I'm really wondering how I'm going to manage all of this by myself, but I will.

There is this neighbor boy/man ,did you catch that, who would help if I could stand him? He is 41, has 3 small children, married, finally on disability after 3 years of sitting and doing nothing. He is tattooed all over and paid for these tattoos after he got a settlement from a car bump up.

Talk about one having their priorities in order, he didn't think of buying groceries and storing them for the children. He stutters and has the mentality of a rock. And no, I have nothing against anyone who stutters, only one who stutters AND has tattoos.

He came over one morning early, walked into this house where I work, without a shirt on. I turned around and slap me right in the eye with a 2 by 4 and saw him, with my immediatete first reaction being:

"Excuse me, Where is your shirt at?"

He said, "Iiiitttttt ttttttoooooooo hhhhhoooottttt fuuuuurrrrr ahhhhhhh sssshhhheeeerrrrttttt. "

I said, "Not in this house it isn't! "

I can assure you he has never shown back up here without his shirt on.
Now get a picture of this.

He wants green beans and squash and cucumbers, anything he can get his hands on from this garden. However, there is a catch to this. He offered to pick them, but thinks we will can them for him! I see a clear indication where Zyprexa may very well be in order.

No thank him, I will pick the beans myself.

Have a great day and as always,

Figure Of Speech :-)

A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask
over his mouth and nose.

A young, student nurse appears to give him a partial sponge bath.

"Nurse", he mumbles, from behind the mask. "Are my testicles black?"
Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, Sir. I'm only here to
wash your upper body and feet."He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, are my testicles black?"

Concerned that he may elevate his blood pressure and heart rate from worry
about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and pulls back the
covers.

She raises his gown, holds his manhood in one hand and his testicles in
the other. Then, she takes a close look and says, "There's nothing wrong with them, Sir!"

The man pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her and says very slowly,
"Thank you very much. That was wonderful, but, listen very, very
closely......

Are - my - test - results - back?"

A Step Ahead Of Vegetation

Good early morning to all,

My progress in the garden is really quite impressive. I only gathered a pale of a bucket this morning. Yes, That's southern talk. A pale is a little over a fourth of a five gallon bucket, so it would be safe to actually call what I gathered one third of a five gallon bucket. Whatever, right? It is just a lot easier to say, Yes Sir, I gathered a pale of squash! Yesterday I canned 7 pints and 7 quarts of squash and zucchini.

Now, if your wondering what I could possibly be going to do with this, just ask me. We do have to have meals on the front porch when someone makes it down the pathway to Julep, right?

I'm not sure how I missed the other row of corn in the early mornings of the beginning of the week, but I made a mistake while writing my quantities of rows of corn. I wasn't there when it was planted is the only reasonable excuse I have or that I have been so busy and in a hurry to get things done, I hadn't taken the time to really walk through the complete garden, but certainly have now! Sheesh, right. We have three rows instead of two.

Will someone please give me permission to be tired yet?

My dear friend who I work for, went through her surgery well yesterday. She is holding her own but will have to come home with IVs in which is no biggy. It just means that I will be hare longer on midnight and through the day. I'm not complaining because no one else would do things the way I would want them done, plus I'm looking at having to probably purchase another vehicle, not to mention perhaps a computer.

I went last evening before returning back here to work and checked on Lady In Waiting. That's what I call my computer... A Marine who worked for the government within the computer systems, Yes, step outside the box please, is the one working on LIW. So far the loaded files that were missing have been loaded back, however I had to take the recovery disk and see if this would actually run through the PC, as so far this isn't a recovery problem it seems to be fatal. :-( I will find out this morning when I leave work. Yeah, I'm getting off this morning, coming back tonight instead.

My son, Will, will be playing in the twelve year old All- Stars tomorrow at noon. His usual position is catcher or pitcher. However, he also has been playing first base and third. It will be interesting to see how this goes. We will play in Statesville, then Charlotte, and if we go to the state playoffs, it is said to be in West Virginia, imagine this!

As always, it is my honor,

Catholic Humor

The elderly priest, speaking to the younger priest, said, "It was a good idea to replace the first four pews with plush bucket theater seats. It worked like a charm. The front of the church always fills first now."The young priest nodded, and the old priest continued,

"And you told me adding a little more beat to the music would bring young people back to church, so I supported you when you brought in that rock'n'roll gospel choir. Now our services are consistently packed to the balcony.""Thank you, Father," answered the young priest."I am pleased that you are open to the new ideas of youth."

"All of these ideas have been well and good," said the elderly priest, "But I'm afraid you've gone too far with the drive-thru confessional.""But, Father," protested the young priest, "my confessions and the donations have nearly doubled since I began that!"

"Yes," replied the elderly priest, "And I appreciate that. But the flashing neon sign, 'Toot 'n Tell or Go to Hell' cannot stay on the church roof."

They Walk Among Us

I was at the checkout of a K-Mart. The clerk rang up $46.64 charge. I gave her a fifty dollar bill. She gave me back $46.64. I gave it back to her and told her that she had made a mistake in MY favor and gave her the money back. She became indignant and informed me she was educated and knew what she was doing, and returned the money again. I gave her the money back again...same scenario! I departed the store with the $46.64.

I walked into a Mickey D's with a buy-one-get-one-free coupon for a sandwich. I handed it to the girl, and she looked over at a little chalkboard that said "buy one-get one free." "They're already buy-one-get-one-free", she said, "so I guess they're both free" She handed me my free sandwiches, and I walked out the door.

One day I was walking down the beach with some friends when one of them shouted, "Look at that dead bird!" Someone looked up at the sky and asked, "Where?"

While looking at a house, my brother asked the real estate agent which direction was north because, he explained, he didn't want the sun waking him up every morning. She asked, "Does the sun rise in the north?" When my brother explained that the sun rises in the east, and has for sometime, she shook her head and said, "Oh, I don't keep up with that stuff."

I used to work in technical support for a 24/7 call center. One day I got a call from an individual who asked what hours the call center was open. I told him, "The number you dialed is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week." He responded, "Is that Eastern or Pacific time?" Wanting to end the call quickly, I said, "Uh, Pacific."

My sister has a lifesaving tool in her car designed to cut through a seat belt if she gets trapped. She keeps it in the trunk.

My friends and I were on a beer run and noticed that the cases were discounted 10%. Since it was a big party, we bought 2 cases. The cashier multiplied 2 times 10% and gave us a 20% discount.

I couldn't find my luggage at the airport baggage area, so I went to the lost luggage office and told the woman there that my bags never showed up. She smiled and told me not to worry because she was a trained professional and I was in good hands. "Now," she asked me, "has your plane arrived yet?"

...............They Walk Among Us!

While working at a pizza parlor, I observed a man ordering a small pizza to go. He appeared to be alone and the cook asked him if he would like it cut into four pieces or six. He thought about it for some time before responding. "Just cut it into four pieces; I don't think I'm hungry enough to eat six pieces."

...............Yep, They Walk Among Us!

They Walk Among Us, AND they reproduce, and WORST OF ALL...................................they VOTE!

My 6am Mornings

Up and atom to the garden I go. It is a lovely, crisp morning here in North Carolina. The temp is 66 and dew is every where. Again, with two buckets, I head to the squash patch. I gathered both full buckets. However, more of the yellow squash than the zucchini. Yeah!!! The cucumbers are blooming and tiny babies are starting to grow. The green beans are running, and soon will start to bloom. Two new rows are corn, silver queen have been planted, and these are doing nicely, only about four inches up, but coming.

The flowers have been watered and everything is ready for another morning here still remaining at work. I'm wondering how my friend and his farming is going? :-( I'm sure his corn is really high now. I think I'm going through withdrawals from not being able to communicate. My patients daughter is still in the hospital and will have a procedure this early evening to try to clean out some of the infection in her knee, that comes from Strep B, a side kick off of being a diabetic. She is certainly in my prayers as she is like my "Other" mother to me.

In all that has gone wrong here with me in two weeks and how emotional I had became, I know I'm blessed to have such a wonderful family to work with. We are all one. I tend to believe that, that is the way all relationships should be. A complete whole in all areas, or they just don't seem worth the effort. Does that wholeness come instantly, heavens no. But understand... in order for these and life to move forward, there must be some level of desire.

Have a great day and will update my process in how much I did get canned today! :-)
